Le Petit Prince here~! A request from a mysterious anon has come in! They wanted to know if they would ever be successful which is also a pretty familiar question for the cards.

This week I’m using another 5 card spread focusing more on careers and/or success.

First Card, What, Nine of Pentacles
In the deck I’m using today, the Nine of Pentacles is represented by a blooming flower. This is basically the card of success, so you’re on pretty good track so far. This position is basically showing what your career will be like overall

Second Card, Choice, Nine of Swords
This position tells us whether you’ve made the right choice or not. It generally symbolizes fear and sadness, generally a dark place. This may just mean it’s a difficult choice but not necessarily the wrong one.

Third Card, Difficulties, Eight of Swords
The eight of swords is oddly enoughoneofmyfavorite cards to read as it hardly ever changes its meaning. This card means you’re in a tight spot that you can’t seem to get out of. It’s usually because you’re too close to the situation so you cannot see the answer.

Fourth Card, Favour, Seven of Swords
The card for secrets, seven of swords. In this position it makes me think that a secret you have kept may help you out of your rut. Opening up to someone could make life a little easier than you would have thought.

Fifth Card, You, Six of Swords
This is about what you can do to help with your difficulty. This is one of the toughest cards to face. It resembles moving on and possibly regrets. Although it may mean just taking a break from the issue at hand.

Le Petit Prince here again! This month I’m back to using my tarot cards to do a reading for SirenCall. She wants to know about her love life, one of the most common areas for the tarot. I like to think they’ve gotten pretty good at this over the years. For this, I’m using a 5-pointed star spread which I found online and thought it would be nice since the Star card is one of my favorites.

Onto the reading!

First Card, Present Situation, The High Priestess
This card is similar to the Moon in a Lenormand deck. It’s a very spiritual card and may be referring to this very reading. This topic may also be entering your dreams somehow as well, either consciously or sub-consciously. Generally, the High Priestess is generally a kind-hearted card and is often helping to create a good fortune for you.

Second Card, Obstacles, The Magician
A bit of a weird card to have in this position, I’ll be honest. Generally, the control he has over all the other arcana is a helpful thing to have on your side. Maybe this power has gotten a little bit too out of control, or maybe you or someone around is you too in control. I do think they mean well though, maybe they’re only trying to protect you.

Third Card, Changes Needed, The Fool
The Fool sounds pretty much exactly like how you think it would. They’re a little bit childish and love to live in the moment. This card works pretty well with the Magician, itmakesmethinkyouneedtoletloose a little bit and just be a little crazy sometimes.

Fourth Card, Strengths, Three of Cups
Three of Cups is a really heartwarming kind of card. It represents friendship and you just being able to be you. Thisisdefinitelyagoodcardtohaveinyourfavor. If you don’t already, you’ll be gaining some friends who love you for you and who you feel comfortable with. They’ll always be there to support you.

Fifth Card, Challenges, Two of Cups
This card represents either an especially close friend or a romantic relationship. I’m leaning towards the latter on this one. I tend to think it means that being in the relationship once you find someone will be the difficult bit, seeing as it’s in the challenges position, rather than finding the person.

Sixth Card, Outcome, Ten of Swords
To be quite frank, this is probably one of the worst cards you can get, especially in this position. It generally depicts a man getting stabbed by ten swords which aren't the fun-est place to be. It means you’ve hit rock-bottom. I think this works with the Two of Cups, meaning you are unhappy with the relationship you are in.

So, overall you need to get those knickers unknotted and let yourself live a little more freely. Also, be very cautious of your relationships as it may not end well. If you do end up getting stabbed with ten swords, you have some amazing friend to help you heal.

Le Petit Prince here! Card readings are back again and this time they won’t just include tarot. This month the lovely Lady Lena has allowed me to read her cards using a Lenormand deck. She was wondering if she’d ever be able to pursue a career as a writer.

This deck of cards is better at answering specific questions as they’re less "up in the air" than tarot cards usually are. They were named after Marie Anne Lenormand who actually never used the deck, infact it was invented after she died. They’re often called Petit Lenormand as they’re much smaller than a general set of tarot cards (36 vs 78.) So, now that you know a bit about the cards, let’s get stuck into the reading.

First Card, Past, The Tree
This card represents growth and health. In this case, it probably means more growth than health. Your writing abilities have improved greatly over the past months, possibly even years. This is a pretty good sign that your writing is up to publishing quality.

Second Card, Present, The Moon
The Moon is a very spiritual card. I often get this one in Lenormand readings probably because, well, you’re getting a reading done which can be a very spiritual experience. I have a feeling this card is more about creativity than anything, possibly even recognition. It shows this is a perfect time to start writing and your work won’t go unnoticed.

Third Card, Future, The Lilies
The Lilies is always a weird card. It often means something sexual or something to do with a male figure.Inthiscase though, I get a feeling it means peace. Whatever ends up happening with your writing, you’ll be happy.

So, overall, it’s the perfect time to start writing and you’ll definitely end up happy.

That’s it from me this month.

I’m back once again with a new reading! Justin Cook has asked me this time if he’ll ever feel truly happy. Let’s see what the cards have to say about that!

Today I’m using a six-card spread. This shows us the past, present, future, something working with you, something working against you and the outcome.

First card: The Past; Four of Swords
Chance would believe that the reason you’re asking if you’ll ever be happy is because you believe you haven’t ever felt true happiness. This card definitely shows me that. It represents strain, weariness. In this case, it’s most likely some emotional strain.

Second card: The Present; The World
This card actually represents happiness. This could be interpreted to mean that some happiness is coming your way sometime soon. This card has good vibes.

Third card: The Future; Judgement
Judgement, in other words, is karma. This card gives me quite a good feeling, so I’m thinking this card is going in your favour. If you do something good for someone, that is definitely going to come back around.

Fourth card: Working with you; Ten of Wands
This may seem like a card more suited to the position of working against you because it’s the sign of a burden. In this position, though, it is a sign of hard work. To get to your goal, you’re going to need to work hard and have lots of determination.

Fifth card: Working against you; Three of Swords
This card shows some strains on relationships. This does not necessarily mean any of the relationships will break off or end, though; there’s just going to be a bit of a rocky road to get through.

Sixth card: Outcome; Six of Pentacles
This shows a positive outcome in the end. This is the card of sharing and shows signs of wealthiness. This usually means money but in this instance, it could be seen as happiness.

Overall, your reading makes achieving true happiness entirely possible. There may be some strains on relationships along the way but in the end, happiness is definitely still within reach. I hope you find it soon.

Thanks once again to Justin Cook for letting me read his cards.

Hello, Le Petit Prince here back for another reading. This month, Phoenix<3 wants to know if her love life and luck will ever change. Let’s take a look at the cards and see what they say. If you would like to find out what your own cards say, check out the bottom of this page.

First card, Basis, Eight of Swords
This card shows that right now you’re a little stuck in the was of love and/or luck. Things aren’t really moving forward but they also aren’t moving backward. Things aren’t too bad but they definitely could be better.

Second card, Desires, Nine of Cups
The Nine of Cups makes a lot of sense in this position because it means simply to get what you want. It is a little bit vague though and doesn’t show exactly what it is you want.

Third card, Aid, Page of Wands
This card represents good news. Maybe some creativity, too. Being a little spontaneous isn’t such a bad thing either. This card tells me some unconventional choices will pay off in the end.

Fourth card, Hinderance, Page of Swords
This card isn’t such a terrible card. It shows there is definitely going to be some turbulence along the way regarding some of your choices although you shouldn’t give in. Communication is key to solving the tension, and discovering the truth is also important.

Fifth card, Outcome, Six of Wands.
The Six of Wands is also a pretty basic card. This represents accomplishments, generally around the workplace. This will definitely help build up a good reputation and help build up confidence in yourself.

In conclusion, it looks like your luck/love is definitely going to improve. Being a little spontaneous and communicating is key for a good outcome. If you do that, you’ll end up with a boost of confidence which may be just what you need to turn your love/luck around!

Thank you very much to Mike The Shade for allowing me to read his cards. Today I am using the daily spread made up of five cards for a fairly general reading into the future, as per Mike’s request. If you would like to get your cards read, feel free to fill out the form linked below.

The first card represents work.

Card: Nine of Cups
This is one of the best cards, in my opinion, to get. It signifies achievement and abundance. So expect good things in the way of work.

The second card represents home.

Card: Two of Swords
Swords are always about logic. They’re usually quite neutral in their meanings. The two of swords signifies a decision or stalemate. It might be best to see things from an outside perspective or seek advice from someone else.

The third card represents the unexpected.

Card: The Tower
Much like death, the tower signifies something ending. Unlike death, the tower is a chaotic card. Things are not likely to end smoothly. It may also reveal new truths to you.

The fourth card represents your role.

Card: Six of Cups
The six of cups represents nostalgia and often good things. In this case, I get the feeling you will need time to heal and might even ignore problems that will arise, preferring to live in the past with happy memories.

The fifth card represents an outcome.

Card: Five of Swords
As indicated by the tower, new truths will be revealed. You will discover lies, dishonour and selfishness. This doesn’t always have to be a bad thing, though. It’s best to move on rather than be stuck in a lie for the rest of your life.

Overall, things aren’t looking too great, I’ll be honest. It seems like someone may be lying to you and it might be best to resolve that sooner rather than later. At least your work life seems to be going well.

Once again, thank you to Mike The Shade for letting me read your cards :33

If you would like to get your cards read and even be featured in the next edition of Scandalous please fill out the form at the bottom of the page :33

The first card represents the past.

Card: The Hierophant

The second card represents the past.

Card: Eight of Swords
The Eight of Swords signifies a feeling of being stuck. No matter what you just can’t seem to find a way out but all you really needed to do was look at it from a different perspective.

The third card represents the past.

Card: Ten of Swords
This cards can mean loss or disappointment. It’s a sign that you need to move forward from this loss.

The fourth card represents the present.

Card: The Hermit
This card means introspection and deep thought. You may be thinking things over to discover a bit more about yourself.

The fifth card represents the present.

Card: Strength
Just as the name suggests, this card represents strength. It shows you have the courage to achieve whatever you want to achieve. It’s especially powerful when in a female’s reading focusing on relationships. So, you’ve got a whole lot of strength going on!

The sixth card represents the present.

Card: Eight of Cups
Eight of Cups shows you’re turning away from something. It might’ve been a hard decision to leave something you probably loved but a sign of moving forward, possibly on to greater things.

The seventh card represents the future.

Card: The Star
This card shows that you’re about to discover a new you, a new lease on life. You will grow a whole lot as a person and hopefully become better.

The eighth card represents the future.

Card: The High Priestess
The High Priestess represents secrets. It’s possible that you’ll discover something that might provide a whole new perspective on things. Just follow your instincts and things should be okay.

The ninth card represents the future.

Card: Four of Wands
Four of Cards is a great card to have in your future. It means you’ve accomplished whatever you’ve set out to do and are finally content with life. You may want to reward yourself for finally discovering true harmony. It can also represent marriage.

Overall, in your past you may have experienced some loss that might’ve made it hard to move forward but in the present you have recovered from that and are ready to get back out into the world and meet that someone special. You will grow as a person and eventually you may settle down and have the romance you’ve always dreamed of having.

Once again, thank you to Samantha Bradley7. It was fun to get a little insight into your love life and I hope you’re pleased with your results.

A Brief Into

First things first, I should probably introduce myself. I’m Rose and 100% male. I first started reading cards when I got a part as a fortune teller in a play. I decided it was pretty fun and continued reading cards for friends and myself. I’ve never actually made money off of this, just something I like to do for fun. From the cards, I expanded my world into some other Druidry and paganism (I swear it’s not worshipping Satan.) I wouldn’t actually call myself a pagan but it’s a hobby I’d like to share with you.

Now, onto a bit about the cards. Originally, they weren’t just for reading fortunes, they were used to play games throughout Europe. It’s a fancy form of cartomancy, which is just reading cards. To read fortunes, you don’t even need to have tarot cards, just some simple playing cards. The tarot cards are divided up into two main arcana. Normal ones you might see on a playing card, although slightly altered, such as the two pentacles or swords. These are the minor arcana. Then there’s the major arcana which are fancier cards. The chariot or lovers are both major arcana. All of these cards represent something and along with ‘energy’ they can be quite powerful.

When I talk about energy, I mean spirits and all that stuff. When reading someone else's cards, you need to really tap into that person's energy and get a feel for how the cards react to them. It’s a little difficult to explain to someone who’s never read cards or tried Druidry or paganism before but hopefully, you get what I mean.

I’d be happy to teach you how cartomancy works and go a bit more in-depth about the cards later on if that’s something you’d like to hear about but for now, I think that should do.

So, I decided to read my own cards for this first run of the article.

I used the anchor spread which is usually used along with the life spread but this is just an example so I’m keeping it simple. (Spreads are just how the cards are laid out).

The first card represents what is currently happening.
Three of Swords
Swords represent you and usually intellect and thinking. A three of swords may mean some arguments, maybe even separation, and is shown by swords piercing a heart.

The second card represents love in present or future.

The Magician
The Magician represents a major arcana. You have the skills you need; all you have to do is apply them. This card represents a hopeful future as long as you are willing to work a little to get there.

The third card represents work in the present or future.

Justice
This is another major arcana. Justice usually represents balance. In work, this is usually a good thing. This may mean you have or will have a good balance which will hopefully come with less stress.

The fourth card represents the center.

Chariot

The chariot signifies triumph. Just like the magician, though, you gotta work for it. The position of the card usually displays how you’ll react to things that are going to happen. The chariot means there will be some inner turmoil that you will have to go through but the outcome is likely positive.

The fifth card represents the immediate future.

Knight of Swords
Court cards represent an event, and knights specifically are actions. The knight of swords usually represents something chaotic.

The sixth card represents wants and wishes.

Knight of Pentacles
This is another court card. Knight of Pentacles represents hard work. He’s probably my favorite card in the deck as this means pretty much only positive things. As he is in the wants and wishes position, you wish for some reliability and method in your life, usually the Knight of Pentacles represents successes too so you’ll probably get what you want.

The seventh card represents the future

Six of Swords.

This card predicts your future a little less immediately. The Six of Swords shows a boat which means travel. You are heading for calmer waters. Your future is going to end up being a peaceful one.

Overall, it looks like if you put the hard work in, things are going to go well for you. You’ve got a bit of a rough time ahead but it will become smooth sailing if you just believe in yourself and do what you need to.
